My passion for directing began at Roundabout Theatre Company as a member of their actors youth ensemble back in 2016. As a student actor I was fascinated in understanding what made a scene work, why a certain choice I made landed, or didn’t, and how my directors could change an entire trajectory of a scene, with just one note. I’ve always been intrigued by the human condition and understanding what it takes to create an entire world. I assistant directed my college’s MainStage production of First Daughter Suite which gave me the confidence to bring my passion of directing to my post grad life. Acting and directing are now skills that go hand in hand for me. My love of script analysis and text are now things I use to teach. Recently I have began working as a teaching artist with Manhattan Theatre Club, where I guide and direct high school students through scene study based on MTC’s current season, giving them access to theatrical education, the same education that I received at that age, education that gave me the inspiration and encouragement to pursue my life in the arts now.
DIRECTING
INTIMACY DIRECTION
While receiving my BFA at Marymount Manhattan, I also learned about the art of intimacy direction and studied closely with intimacy choreographer and coach, Prather Rehm. While at MMC, I worked as intimacy director on productions of The Wolves, Pillowman, and Midsummer Nights Dream. Since graduating, I have worked as intimacy director for both theater and film. Most recently, I worked as intimacy director on Matt Gasda’s Minotaur at the Brooklyn Center for Theatre Research (December 2025).
